Note from the Chairman
The
mission of Phelps is to heal the sick and injured and improve the health of
the residents of our community through education and life-saving health screenings.
Our sign on Route 9 directs you to us as a "Hospital Center," but
"Health Center" really describes us better. As advanced skills and
technologies shorten hospital stays and enable many procedures to be performed
on an outpatient basis, the breadth of our outpatient services continually expands.
The Board of Directors and I are proud of the skills and dedication of all our staff -- doctors, nurses, technicians, housekeepers, managers and administrators -- to assure the physical and mental health of the people we serve, from newborn infants to senior seniors. Think of us as your personal consultants for good health. We are available for you whenever you need us. At Phelps, our mission begins and ends with you. We consider it a privilege to serve you.
