Phelps Auxiliary
Established in 1955
Established
in 1955, Phelps Auxiliary is a network of hundreds of men and women who provide
volunteer services and participate in fundraising activities to help support
the hospital. The Auxiliary is a volunteer membership organization comprised
of nearly 400 dedicated individuals. Its primary mission is to raise much needed
funds for the hospital.
Since its inception, the Auxiliary has raised $4 million in pledges and cash, including $54,200 for Phelps Hospice, $500,000 for Mammography, and a $500,000 Capital Campaign pledge for the new Emergency Department. Their support has also helped finance renovation of the mental health facility, purchase of operating room equipment, development of the Emergency Department's PromptCare facility, and other capital improvements.
