Chronic Cough Clinic. People often have a chronic cough despite numerous doctor visits, medications, and diagnostic tests. Coughing associated with throat clearing, voice changes, trouble swallowing, nighttime cough, and vocal spasms can often be caused from chronic laryngopharyngeal reflux disease. Alternatively, some people often feel a tickle in the throat that precedes a cough, a dry spot or dryness in the throat, and a cough that is neuropathy. Screening for these types of coughs will be offered.
